Broadcast Reports and Retargeting

3 minutos de leitura Updated Nov 3, 2026 WhatsApp e SMS

Every WhatsApp broadcast has its own report that updates live while it sends and as recipients read and reply. Open it from Outbound > Campaigns by clicking the broadcast.

Report Actions

  • Pause, Resume and Cancel while the broadcast is sending.
  • Export CSV to download every recipient and their result.
  • Duplicate to start a new draft with the same settings.
  • Retarget to send a follow-up to part of the audience (below).

Visão geral

  • Totals: recipients (and how many were skipped), delivered, read, replied and failed, SMS fallback sends, opt-outs within 7 days and the estimated Meta cost.
  • Funnel: sent, delivered, read and replied with percentages.
  • Engagement over the first 72 hours: reads and replies by hour, to see when people respond.
  • Not delivered or skipped: each failure and skip reason with a count and a next step, such as Collect opt-ins, Review templates or Request a higher limit.
  • Message and Details: what was sent, from which number, the audience and settings.

Recipients

The Recipients tab lists every contact with their status, channel (WhatsApp or SMS), timestamps, and the error or skip reason. Filter by All, Delivered, Read, Replied, Failed, Skipped, SMS or Pending, or search.

Replies

The Replies tab shows each reply with a snippet and a link to the conversation, so you can see quick-reply taps at a glance. Click Open contact & conversation to jump to the contact and the chat. Agents also see a one-time context line in the chat naming the broadcast the customer is replying to.

Retargeting

Pick a Group

Click Retarget and choose who to follow up with: Read, didn't reply (nudge engaged contacts), Delivered, not read (try a different message), Replied (follow up with interested contacts), Everyone who read it, or Failed (retry after fixing the cause).

Compose the Follow-Up

A new broadcast draft opens with that group on the audience's Follow-up tab. Choose the message and send as usual.

Consent Is Checked Again

Anyone who opted out after the first broadcast is skipped, and the frequency guard still applies.

For a reusable group, create a segment with a Broadcast rule, such as "didn't reply to" a specific broadcast. See Audiences, Lists and Segments.

Analyze > WhatsApp Campaigns

For trends across broadcasts, go to Analyze > WhatsApp campaigns. You'll see account-level delivery, read and reply rates, estimated Meta spend by category, every campaign side by side, and opt-ins and opt-outs by source. Widget, channel and agent filters don't apply on this tab.

Perguntas frequentes

Why is the read rate lower than expected?

Read receipts depend on each recipient's privacy settings. People who turned them off show as delivered even if they read the message, so treat read rates as a minimum.

Why do some recipients stay at Sent instead of Delivered?

Meta reports delivery when the message reaches the recipient's phone. If the phone is off or offline, it stays at Sent until it connects. Status updates can take a few minutes; see WhatsApp Setup Troubleshooting.

Are link clicks tracked?

WhatsApp doesn't report link or button clicks to businesses. Add UTM parameters to your URLs to measure clicks in your web analytics.

What does Failed mean?

Meta couldn't deliver the message. The Recipients tab shows why, for example the number isn't on WhatsApp, the messaging limit was reached, or Meta limited marketing messages to that person.

Are test sends in the report?

No. Messages from Send a test aren't counted.
