Chat Limits, Agent Limits & Usage

Each plan has limits on monthly chats, agents, and widgets. Here is how they work.

Chat Limits

Your plan includes a set number of chat conversations per month. See What Counts as a Chat Conversation for how conversations are counted. Chat counts reset on the first day of each calendar month.

On the Starter plan, you can add up to 3 agents. If you need more agents, upgrade to the Basic plan or higher for unlimited agents.

If you try to create a widget beyond your plan limit, you will be prompted to upgrade.

What Happens When You Hit a Limit

  • Chat limit reached - You will be notified. Your widget continues to work, but you should consider upgrading.
  • Agent limit reached - You cannot add more agents until you upgrade or remove an existing agent.
  • Widget limit reached - You cannot create new widgets until you upgrade or remove an existing widget.

View your current usage in the Dashboard or on the Billing page in Settings.
