Bulk WhatsApp messaging the official way, without risking your number
No phone farms, browser extensions or modified apps. Send approved templates to thousands of opted-in customers through Meta’s Cloud API, stay inside your messaging limit automatically, and let unlimited agents handle the replies from Slack, Microsoft Teams or Google Chat.
Bulk WhatsApp message sender apps vs the official API
Search for a bulk WhatsApp sender and you’ll find extensions and desktop apps that type messages into WhatsApp Web for you. They’re cheap and fast to start, and they’re exactly what WhatsApp’s Terms of Service forbid. When the number behind them gets restricted, so does every customer conversation on it.
The real cost of a ban
Losing the number your customers already have saved, its chat history on that tool, and the trust you built. That’s why we only send through Meta’s official API.
| Question | Unofficial bulk sender | Official WhatsApp Business API |
|---|---|---|
| How messages are sent | Automates WhatsApp Web or a modified app on a phone | Meta’s Cloud API, built for business messaging |
| Allowed by WhatsApp? | No. WhatsApp’s Terms prohibit unauthorized bulk or automated messaging | Yes, under WhatsApp’s Business and Commerce policies |
| Risk to your number | High: numbers can be restricted or banned, often without warning | Low when you message opted-in contacts and keep quality high |
| Who receives it | Whoever is in your phone’s contacts | Only contacts with recorded consent, checked on every send |
| Opt-outs | Manual, if they happen at all | STOP and “Stop promotions” handled automatically |
| Volume | Throttled by hand to avoid detection | Your Meta messaging limit, up to unlimited per 24 hours |
| Relatórios | Guesswork | Delivered, read and replied for every recipient |
| Replies | Pile up on one phone | Shared by unlimited agents in Slack, Teams, Google Chat or the inbox |
How many WhatsApp messages can you send per day?
Meta doesn’t cap messages; it caps people. Your messaging limit is the number of unique customers your business can start conversations with in a rolling 24 hours. Replies to customers who messaged you first don’t count.
Since October 2025 the limit sits on your business portfolio and is shared by all of its numbers, so adding more numbers doesn’t add more capacity. Climb the ladder by sending messages people want; a falling quality rating no longer drops you a rung, but it does stop you climbing.
Social Intents reads your current limit, keeps each day’s sends under 90% of it. If a broadcast won’t fit today, the pre-flight check tells you before you send. Plans add a monthly allowance: 2,000 / 10,000 / 50,000 broadcast recipients on Basic / Pro / Business.

How to send a bulk WhatsApp message in 5 steps
From a spreadsheet of opted-in customers to a tracked campaign, without a single unofficial tool.
-
1
Connect your number to the WhatsApp Business API
Start a free trial and connect your WhatsApp number through Meta’s Embedded Signup. If you already use the WhatsApp Business app, coexistence keeps it working on your phone.
-
2
Import your opted-in contacts
Upload a CSV with names, phone numbers and tags, choose a default country for numbers without a country code, and record how these people opted in. Existing contacts are matched and updated, not duplicated.
-
3
Choose an approved template
Pick an approved template, or start from one of 90 ready-made templates and submit it to Meta. Map variables like the first name to contact fields, with a fallback for anyone missing a value.
-
4
Check reach and schedule inside quiet hours
The Reach card shows who will receive the message and why anyone is skipped, plus the estimated Meta cost. Send a test to yourself, then send now or schedule it within quiet hours (9 AM to 8 PM by default).
-
5
Send, track replies and follow up
Watch delivered, read and replied counts per recipient. Replies land in Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat or the inbox, and one click turns “read, didn’t reply” into your next audience.
Send a mass WhatsApp message that still feels one-to-one
A WhatsApp blast arrives as a private chat from your business, never a group, so recipients can’t see each other. Variables make each one personal: first name, company, city and more, each with a fallback for anyone you don’t know well yet.
- Missing values are caught in the pre-flight check, not after sending
- Replies come back as individual conversations your team can answer
- Dynamic button links can be filled from a contact field too
6 ways to keep your quality rating high
Meta rates every number on how recipients react. High quality is what unlocks bigger limits, so these habits pay off twice.
Only message people who opted in
Consent is the single biggest factor in quality. Record where every opt-in came from, and never import a bought or scraped list.
Segment instead of blasting
A smaller, relevant audience beats a big, indifferent one. Use tags, country and past engagement to choose who hears what.
Space your messages out
Too many promotions in a row drives blocks. The frequency guard skips anyone you sent marketing to recently.
Send at sensible hours
A 6 a.m. promotion is a fast way to get reported. Quiet hours hold messages until the recipient’s window opens.
Make leaving easy
Add “Reply STOP to opt out” to marketing templates. Opting out is better for your quality rating than a block.
Ramp up gradually
Start with your most engaged contacts, watch the quality rating, then widen the audience as Meta raises your limit.
What does it cost to send bulk WhatsApp messages?
Meta charges per delivered template, by category and recipient country, and bills it to your own WhatsApp Business Account with no markup. Add your flat plan, from $69/month billed annually with unlimited agents.
The formula
The Meta rate depends on the template category (Marketing, Utility or Authentication) and the recipient’s country. Failed and skipped messages aren’t charged.
Need a series of messages instead of one? WhatsApp drip campaigns send timed follow-ups and stop for each contact as soon as they reply.
